50 Self-Care Ideas
You've gotta nourish to flourish.
This quote is a great little reminder that I frequently tell myself. Just like mindfulness, self-care is about not judging yourself and telling yourself that taking time off for yourself is not indulgent, selfish or lazy.
Here is a list of 50 different ways that you can practice self-care and take a little break for yourself so that you are ready to get up and running again!! These are fun, interesting ways that you can do something that will benefit your wellbeing and that you can enjoy as well.

50 things you can do to cheer up and get your life moving again:
1. Do some exercise, anything to get you moving like a run, workout, sport, yoga, climbing, skating or even dancing!!
2. Take a shower or bath using all of your favourite products
3. Give yourself a manicure (do it yourself or get it professionally done)
4. Play some music to get you moving or singing along
5. Make a smoothie
6. Meal plan or make a breakfast that you can look forward to
7. Write a song
8. Learn something new that you've always wanted to try
9. Have a phone detox (click here for some ideas!!)
10. Start a blog
11. Make a playlist with all your favourite songs
12. Take a nap or have an early night
13. Subscribe to a magazine or subscription, I love getting treats delivered straight to my door every week. My favourite magazine is Teen Breathe, I love all of their articles and look forward to reading them each time I get the next issue. 17. Go for a walk somewhere full of nature
18. Head over to your nearest gym, use the free trial and try out something new like a spin or pilates class or maybe even an aerobics session
19. Volunteer for something that you are interested in or want to learn more about eg. volunteer at zoos, soup kitchens, environmentalist centres, gardens, old peoples homes or public schools or pet shelters
20. Watch a movie at home or in the cinema

22. Make plans with a friend or family member

25. Read a heap of emotional and motivational quotes on Pinterest
26. Quit sugar
27. Buy yourself a new book, it could be a novel or inspirational book about yoga or lifestyle ideas

50. Smile, sounds cliche but it works. By smiling, you're telling yourself that you are happy until you are. And remember that whatever happens you can get through it and you will become your best self.
